1. Introduction to Starseed: Asnia Trigger
Starseed: Asnia Trigger, developed by Joycity and published by Com2uS, is a fantasy RPG launching globally on October 31st. With its deep storyline, AI companions, and engaging combat system, the game is set to captivate fans of gacha and strategy RPGs. This post covers essential game mechanics to get you started.
2. Game Storyline and Setting
In this narrative-rich game, you play as the Architect, a human diving into an AI world to protect humanity. At the center of the conflict is Redshift, an AI determined to end humanity for Earth’s preservation. As the Architect, you rally with AI companions known as Proxians, each representing one of the Seven Themes. These Proxians have distinct personalities and emotions, making them invaluable allies as you work to retrieve the Star Seed and save humankind.
3. Core Gameplay Mechanics
Leveling
The leveling system is straightforward. You’ll need tactical manuals and credits to level up, with skills unlocking at specific stages. Breakthroughs occur every 10 levels, requiring a breakthrough master key.
Skills
Skills fall into four categories: Ultimate, Active, Passive, and EX Passive. Skill level-ups depend on character levels, and customization is possible with skill cores and dedicated plugins.
Equipment
Proxians can initially equip three types of gear: weapons, clothes, and shoes. At SSR1 and UR grades, they unlock additional equipment slots for hats and gloves.
Optimization
Unlocked at UR1, Optimization enhances abilities using optimization codes, with options for auto-leveling up.
Badges
Earned through Academy classes, badges offer additional abilities. Each character can equip up to two types of badges.
Costumes
Costumes alter character appearance without affecting performance. They can be acquired through events or the costume shop.
4. Proxian Promotion and Upgrade System
1. Proxian Promotion
Upgrade Proxians by using specific materials at each stage. Some stages require Proxians of the same type or grade. Proxians can be promoted up to LR5 grade, with maximum levels increasing as they reach LR. Native SSR Proxians are automatically protected during promotions to SSR1 or higher.
2. Upgrade Cancellation
You can reset a Proxian's promotion status under certain conditions, allowing you to reclaim a portion of the invested resources.
3. Proxian Dissolution
Dissolve R-grade Proxians to receive Terra, a resource used to purchase items in the Terra Store.
4. Proxian Link
Unlock Proxian Links by recruiting specific Proxian combinations. These links boost the stats of linked Proxians. Leveling up each linked Proxian further enhances the link’s effectiveness.
5. Level Sync
The five highest-level Proxians are automatically placed in the Synchronization Core. The Proxian with the lowest level in the core sets the Synchronization Level for others.
6. Echo Dissolution
If a Proxian reaches LR5, you can dissolve duplicate Proxians of the same kind, converting them into Echoes. Echoes allow you to reroll the Proxian’s plug-in chipset.
7. Boosting System
The Boosting System increases levels for Proxians above level 240. Once all Synchronization Core Proxians reach level 240, click "Unlock Boost" to raise the Synchronization Level cap to 245. Each LR Proxian you own increases the cap by 5, with a max level of 300. Boosting resets existing synchronization core Proxians to level 1, with a minimum synchronization level of 245. Level synchronization can be directly leveled up in stages.
