Haze Reverb Reroll Guide: How to Get the Best Start

Introduction:

Hey there! Welcome to our reroll guide for HazeReverb! If you're aiming to start strong with the best characters, rerolling in HazeReverb is pretty quick and can give you a major head start. After clearing stage 1-5, you'll unlock the gacha feature. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes (unless you want to enjoy the story), so without further ado let's get started!

How Rerolling Works in HazeReverb

  1. Unlocking the Gacha

After clearing stage 1-5, you gain access to the novice banner and limited banners featuring rate-up characters. The novice banner is unique because it offers unlimited summons, allowing you to pull as many times as you want until you're satisfied.

  2. Novice Banner Mechanics
    • The novice banner guarantees 3 SSRs in the pool, but you can only obtain 1 SSR per multi-pull. So, trying to pull for multiple SSRs in a single summon is just a waste of time.
    • Focus on picking the best SSR for your needs out of these three options. Alongside your SSR, aim for as many SRs and Rs as possible.
    • Don’t Underestimate Low-Rarity Characters

In HazeReverb, even R characters can outperform SSRs if you train them well. This makes the game friendly to free-to-play (F2P) players, as lower-rarity characters can excel with proper investment.

Recommended Characters to Reroll For

Note: We’re using JP and CN names until we get official English translations. These recommendations might be updated post-launch.

  1. Alice (Blonde girl)
    • Alice is a solid DPS and can become very strong, but she requires dupes and a solid support setup to make her shine.
    • Early on, she might get out-damaged by certain SRs, so she’s more of a long-term investment. If you’re willing to commit to building her over time and securing her duplicates, Alice has high potential. However, she’s not the easiest choice for a quick power boost early on.
  2. Kokorokami (Samurai girl in white Japanese attire on the right)
    • Kokorokami is highly effective in PvE, PvP, and boss battles, making her one of the best early choices. She performs well even without extensive investment and will remain useful well into the mid and late game. For a powerful start, Kokorokami is the best option. Level her up, upgrade her skills, and she’ll carry you through a variety of content.

For Hardcore Rerollers

If you’re a serious reroller, you might want to try aiming for a limited banner character. After collecting launch rewards and progressing through the story, you’ll have enough resources for about 20 pulls.

  • Xiaomeng (assuming this is the rate-up banner character for the global launch).
    • If Xiaomeng suits your team or playstyle or you like her design, She's a really solid Attacker consider going for her. However, keep in mind that banners might change after global release.

If you get lucky and pull a powerful SSR from the limited banner, it’ll set you up for an even stronger start. This requires dedication, though, and may take multiple attempts.

If you’re satisfied with your initial pulls and characters, you can keep the account. If not, delete your account and start the process again.

Conclusion: Is Rerolling Worth It in HazeReverb?

Rerolling in HazeReverb isn’t essential since the novice banner lets you pick a character of your choice with unlimited summons. The game is generous, so F2P players can expect to gather most characters over time. However, if you want a strong start with multiple SSRs, or powerful SRs and Rs, rerolling could help you dominate early PvP and rush the tower stages.

We hope this guide was helpful—happy summoning, and enjoy your time in HazeReverb!
