With the global launch of Heaven Burns Red, we’re starting right at version 4.0, which means we’re only about six months behind the Japanese servers. This is great news because it lets us quickly access some of the game’s recent content and characters! Why Reroll?

In the global version, rerolling has been made easier compared to the JP release, where it used to take at least 30 minutes. Now, after completing Chapter 3, you’ll receive 50 free summons, an SS ticket, and a chance to pick an SS character of your choice. This speeds things up and makes rerolling much more accessible.

Best Characters to Pick from the Free SS Pool

From the 12 available units, I recommend not going for a DPS. While DPS units can be strong early on, they are likely to be powercrept over time. Instead, prioritize supportive characters who will serve you well long-term, as Heaven Burns Red relies on elemental synergy and mono-element teams. Here are two strong choices:

1. Kunimi Tama – Versatile Healer
   • Kunimi Tama is a fantastic choice for early and long-term support. As a healer, she can restore your team’s DP, making survival easier, especially as you learn the game’s mechanics. Her secondary skill even gives her some DPS potential, with a chance to recover 3 SP.
2. Sakuraba Seira – All-Around Buffer
   • Sakuraba Seira, my personal pick, offers excellent support with crit-rate buffs and critical damage increases as you level her skills. She also has taunt and healing abilities in her A and S Skills, making her a well-rounded choice for any team composition.

For players who prefer strong DPS options, here are a few choices that work well initially but may be replaced as you build your roster and summon more units:

• Bungo Yayoi Shining Star – High-Risk, High-Reward Ice Breaker
  • Bungo Yayoi not really a dammage dealer, She excels in boss fights with her Ice Break skill, capable of shreding the boss's whole DP bar with one powerful hit and let your team deal dammage. However, she’s best used with a Luck set to reliably break enemy shields, as her damage can otherwise fluctuate.

How to Reroll Efficiently

For those aiming to start with multiple SS characters, follow these steps:

Complete Chapter 1: Go through dialogues and the tutorial gacha and.

Claim Rewards: Upon reaching Day 0, claim all available rewards from your mailbox.

Then Choose Your Reroll Path: You have two options:

• Use 20 summons to try for an SS.
• Continue to Chapter 3 for 50 summons and your choice SS ticket.

Check Results: Aim to get at least one early SS character you like. If satisfied, keep the account. 

If not, delete and reroll.
