The in-game shop in Lost Swords can be overwhelming, especially for free-to-play (F2P) players. With daily, weekly, and monthly refreshes, it’s easy to waste diamonds on unnecessary items and miss out on better long-term investments.
This guide will help you prioritize purchases, maximize the value of your resources, and avoid buyer’s remorse.
Table of Contents
Key Tips Before You Start
- Claim Free Diamonds Daily: Always check your mail, codes, and event rewards to claim any free diamonds. Don’t let them expire!
- Focus on Long-Term Value: Prioritize rare, time-limited, or essential items for late-game progression.
- F2P Rule: Avoid "optional" buys unless you've secured the must-have items for the week.
Step 1: Claim Your Free Diamonds
Before spending any resources, ensure you've claimed all your free daily, weekly, and monthly diamonds.
Once that’s done, head to the Exchange Shop, where you’ll find several sub-shops to explore. Let’s start with Consumables.
1. Consumables Shop
Must-Buy Daily ✅
- Purple Tickets – Used for one free EXP Domain sweep.
- Gold Tickets – Used for one free Gold Domain sweep.
The Rest is Optional
These items are less urgent, but here’s how to prioritize:
- Golden Compass – Extends the duration of gear farming in the Stonehenge Domain.
- Scrolls – Always grab these when possible, especially if you're leveling gear.
- Boss Summon Tickets – Buy as needed depending on your gold stock. If you’ve already bought EXP books, you can skip them for the day.
- Basic Book of Experience – Situational; useful for a small EXP boost.
Situational Buys ⚠️
- Solo & Co-op Raid Boss Tickets – Valuable if you’re farming Dragon Teeth to open Dragon Chests. If you're rushing progression, they’re worth it, but cautious F2P players should hold back on these unless necessary.
Skip If Low on Diamonds ❌
For now, it's relatively safe to buy everything in this shop since we're receiving a lot of diamonds from story progress and mail rewards. However, our long-term monthly diamond income is uncertain.
If you're F2P, consider buying the tickets for one week and skipping the next to balance your spending.(For me, I personally buy out the entire shop!)
2. Raid Shop
The Raid Shop is one of the most valuable shops in Lost Swords, primarily because of the Dragon Chest.
As mentioned earlier, this chest requires 100 Dragon Teeth to open, and you can obtain them at a slow pace by naturally farming raid bosses or speed up the process by purchasing Raid Boss Tickets with diamonds from other shops.
Additionally, you’ll earn Raid Coins from participating in boss raids, which are used to buy other valuable items in this shop. Here's what you should prioritize:
Must-Buy Items ✅
- Skill Scrolls (Weekly Limit) – Always buy these first. They are in short supply, and since you need them to upgrade multiple characters, they’re a long-term necessity.
- Boss Summon Tickets.
High-Priority Purchases ⚠️
- Fairy Queen Token – If available, grab it as soon as possible.
- 4★ Character & Pet Tickets – Buy these if you need Souls for the next shop or to level up your cards etc...
- Dragon Roar Scroll – Highly valuable for the late game, providing insane buffs. If you're planning ahead, start collecting these early.
Optional / Low-Priority Buys
- EXP Books – Only buy these if you urgently need a small EXP boost, especially early on.
- Mystic Stones.
3. Guild Shop
The Guild Shop is pretty straightforward, but prioritizing the right items will maximize your gains. Here’s what you should focus on to get the most out of your guild currency:
Must-Buy Items ✅
- EXP Box – Always grab this for efficient leveling.
- Skill Scrolls – These are essential for character progression, so buy them as soon as possible.
High-Priority Purchases ⚠️
- Boss Summon Tickets – Great for gear and materials.
- Raid Boss Tickets – If you have enough guild currency, max these out for additional raid farming opportunities.
Optional Buys
- Character/Pet Summon Tickets – Worth picking up if needed for extra summons.
- Souls – Only buy if you have spare currency left and secured all other priorities after prioritizing everything above.
By following this order, you’ll get the most value from your Guild Shop purchases without wasting resources.
4. Colosseum Shop – PvP Priorities
The Colosseum is the PvP mode in Lost Swords, where you can claim your weekly rewards based on your highest rank.
These rewards include Symbols of Honor, the currency needed for purchases in this shop.
Unlike other shops, there’s more flexibility in what you buy here, it's totally up to you but here’s a solid priority list:
Recommended Purchases ✅
- Boss Summon Tickets – A solid choice for farming gear.
- Skill Pages – As always you can't get enough of these, Might be costly in here, but worth it if you need specific upgrades and building multiple characters.
Optional / Long-Term Investments ⚠️
- Character/Pet Summon Tickets – Good if you're looking to expand your roster and need more summons.
- 5★ Pet Summon Tickets – A great long-term goal if you want to save up.
- Souls – Use based on your current needs.
5. Soul Shop – Spend Souls Wisely
The Soul Shop offers a variety of items, but since Souls are limited, it’s important to it's crucial to prioritize wisely.
Must-Buy Items ✅
- Solo & Co-op Raid Boss Entry Tickets – These are an absolute priority and should always be purchased first.
Only Buy If You Have Spare Souls ⚠️
Once you've maxed out your cards, you can consider spending Souls on other items. Other than that DON'T.
If you decide to buy more, follow this priority:
- Boss Summon Tickets – Great for farming gear and materials.
- Golden Compasses – Useful for extending gear farming in Stonehenge.
- Pet Summon Tickets – Invest if you’re looking to improve your pet lineup.
- Skill Pages – Worth it if you have extra Souls.
- Mystic Stones – Not worth spending Souls on.
6. Event Shop – Plan Ahead
The Event Shop changes with each event, so your strategy should adapt accordingly. But a general rule applies:
Daily Must-Buy ✅
- Roulette Ticket – Always grab this daily as it provides excellent value.
Some rewards may become more valuable once you have a clearer picture of what you still need.
By following this guide and carefully managing your resources, you’ll maximize the value of every diamond and Soul you spend. Remember, the key is to focus on long-term progression and avoid unnecessary purchases. Happy adventuring in Lost Swords!
