Lost Sword Tier List Guide – January 2025

Lost Sword Tier List Guide – January 2025

Introduction

Lost Sword is all about building strong teams and mastering synergies. Success in the game doesn’t come from having a single overpowered unit—it’s about creating a balanced team that maximizes elemental reactions and composition.

Here’s why this tier list matters:

  • Team Composition Matters Most: Even the best units in S+ tier need proper teammates to shine. Don’t rely solely on one powerful character.
  • Reactions & Synergies Are Key: Pair characters to trigger strong elemental reactions and maximize their potential.
Instead of separate rankings for PvE, PvP, and bosses, this list combines them for easy reference.

How to Use This Tier List

Use this list as a reference for:

  • Deciding which characters to prioritize and invest in.
  • Understanding the overall meta and performance of units across content types.
  • Getting guidance on who to reroll for when starting the game.

No character is useless in Lost Sword; even low-tier units can shine with max gear, duplicates, cards and a well-built team. This guide is meant to help you focus your efforts and resources efficiently.

Tier Explanation

S+ Tier

These characters dominate the meta. Their unmatched versatility and strength make them essential for any late-game content.

A majority of S+ units belong to the Holy element, granting them a unique edge thanks to their lack of elemental weakness. This ensures their dominance across all types of encounters, whether in PvE, PvP, or boss fights.

As for Lua, she stands out as an excellent front-row damage dealer in a role that sees less competition. While the mid and back rows are saturated with top-tier characters, Lua holds her ground with impressive damage output and a fast 6-second cooldown skill.

She synergizes exceptionally well with S+ units, enhancing team performance further. This combination of speed, strength, and reliable damage output allows Lua to compete with the highest-tier characters, making her a dependable DPS carry for any team.

S Tier

These units are stronger than A-tier characters and just slightly behind S+ tier.
Under the right conditions, they can rival even the top-tier units.

They excel in both DPS and support roles, making them highly valuable and worth investing in for a variety of team compositions. Their versatility ensures they remain key assets in most scenarios.

A Tier

A-tier characters are still strong and worth building, especially since many are essential for specific team compositions and enhance the performance of S-tier units.

Ethan, the male protagonist, falls into this tier, with his potential ranging from A to A+ depending on the team and scenario. He is an excellent starter carry for progressing through the early game, but his effectiveness diminishes when facing level 160+ enemies, potentially dropping him to B tier.

These characters are great for PvP and story progression. They’re reliable options as you continue to build your roster and refine your strategies.

B Tier

B-tier characters are average performers who shine in the early game but struggle to keep up as the difficulty increases.

Some may excel in specific niche scenarios but become less useful in most other content.
While decent and worth building early on, it’s advisable to replace them with stronger options as they become available.

C Tier

C-tier characters are generally underwhelming and not worth investing resources in unless you have no better options or a strong personal preference for them.
They serve as temporary filler units but are best replaced as soon as possible to optimize your team.
