Why Reroll in Lost Swords?

Lost Swords Reroll Guide - tutorial

Rerolling ensures you start with powerful units that can carry you through both PvE and PvP content. Since the process is quick, it’s worth investing a little time to secure top-tier characters.

Rerolling Basics

Lost Swords makes rerolling simple, even though the game doesn’t allow guest accounts.

When you create an account using an email, you can delete it later and immediately reuse the same email to reroll. This removes the hassle of managing multiple emails.

Important Reminder: Avoid redeeming any codes during your rerolling process.
Codes are one-time use, and if you delete the account that used them, you lose access to those rewards permanently.
Save them for when you’ve finalized your account. (Check out our redeem codes guide for more details.)

How Long Does Rerolling Take?

The time spent rerolling depends on how far you’re willing to progress in the story before pulling for characters.

The further you go, the more rewards you’ll unlock, increasing your chances of getting top-tier units. Rerolling can take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.

Short Route (10 Minutes): Clear up to stage 1-12. This unlocks your mailbox and grants access to initial rewards, including 4680 gems and a single advanced 10-time draw ticket.

Longer Route (15–20 Minutes): Clear up to stage 2-4. This route unlocks significantly more rewards, including roughly 6200 diamonds, two 10-time draw tickets, and two five-star summon tickets.

Additionally, you’ll unlock pet gacha at stage 1-14, which isn’t essential for rerolling but can be done for achievements and extra gems.

The Reroll Process

Reaching stage 1-12 unlocks the mailbox, where you’ll find a significant portion of your rewards.

Use Your Rewards Wisely
Once you’ve accumulated your gems and tickets, it’s time to summon!
There are two banners to choose from: the standard banner and the limited banner.
Your target units will determine where to pull.

Who to Target When Rerolling?

Lost Swords Reroll Guide - Merlin and Ran

The ultimate goal of rerolling is to secure units that can carry your team.
Merlin and Ran are the top choices due to their unmatched versatility and synergy.  Having at least one of these characters will significantly improve your roster.

If you manage to pull both, or pair one of them with a reaction synergy unit (as outlined in our team composition guide), you’re off to a fantastic start.

Morgana is another excellent character to aim for, and investing gems in her banner could be worthwhile depending on your team goals.

Other Considerations
  • If you manage to pull 4 Five-Star Units, you’re off to a strong start!

Gacha - Picking the Right Banner

Once you’ve decided which characters you want to aim for, it’s time to choose your banner.
You can either pull on the standard banner for a broader pool of units or the rate-up banner for increased chances of obtaining specific featured characters in this case Morgana, she's a solid character to get when rerolling.

Lost Swords Reroll Guide - 5 star ticket

After using your gems and tickets on the banner of your choice, check your results.
If you’re satisfied with the characters you’ve obtained, it’s time to use your 5-star tickets for additional pulls and see if you can get any of your desired units.

If you’re happy with the outcome, redeem your codes and start enjoying the game!
If not, go to the settings menu, delete your account, and begin the reroll process again.

Tips for Optimizing Your Reroll Strategy

  1. Set Realistic Goals: Decide whether you’re aiming for a specific character, reaction synergy, or a balanced roster.
  2. Be Efficient: Skip the story to save time and focus on clearing stages quickly.
  3. Save for Long-Term Goals: While pet gacha is unlocked early, it’s not essential to reroll for pets. Use pet pulls for achievements and extra gems instead.

Final Thoughts

Rerolling is an essential part of Lost Swords, giving you the opportunity to build a strong foundation for your journey.

While this guide provides a structured approach, don’t forget to have fun experimenting with different characters. Just because a character isn’t mentioned doesn’t mean they’re useless—every unit has potential depending on your playstyle.
